Chhath festival is starting from 5th November. For the peoples who are coming to home, 120 additional buses will be run from Lucknow to Purvanchal. Passengers can book tickets on UPSRTC website tatkal and in advance. This facility of buses is being provided to the passengers for Chhath festival. The government of Uttar Pradesh has given a big facility to the passengers returning to home for Chhath festival.
These buses will run from Alambagh, Charbagh, Awadh and Kaiserbagh bus stand of Lucknow. UP Roadways has taken a decision due to increasing crowd in travel and their convenience, so that the passengers can travel safely. This will be run for all the districts of Purvanchal. These buses will run from Lucknow to Mau, Ghazipur, Ballia, Azamgarh, Gorakhpur, Basti, Banaras, Prayagraj, Deoria, Jaunpur, Bhadohi, Mirzapur and Kashinagar.
There is increase in train frequency also
Train number 02270 is going to run from Lucknow on November 3. In Lucknow-Chhapra special train, 140 seats will remain vacant in second class chair car on Sunday and Monday. There are preparations to send people home on Chhath festival by increasing more than 100 trips of about 36 trains. Puja special will run on Sunday for people going from Lucknow to Chhapra in which seats will remain vacant.
Railway administration has decided to increase the trips in Puja special trains for the convenience of passengers on Chhath festival. Increasing the trips of trains will provide relief to passengers in travelling. It has been decided to increase the trips of trains running from Mumbai, Delhi and Pune to Bihar and Purvanchal of UP via Lucknow. Keeping an eye on the joy of people coming home on the festival of Chhath, Pankaj Kumar Singh told that passengers can go to their homes on the festival of Chhath festival by booking the vacant seats in these trains
