Ghaziabad Kanpur expressway will be 380 km long. This project will also contribute significantly to the economic development of Uttar Pradesh. This is a new project added to the express network of Uttar Pradesh, which will strengthen the network and improve traffic and connectivity, along with contributing significantly to development, people will get traffic facilities which will improve their lives. This project will make the journey from Ghaziabad to Kanpur easier and the 9 districts connected to it will be developed, due to which the people of 9 districts will get a lot of relief in traffic. With this project, the journey from Delhi Ghaziabad to Kanpur which used to take 7 to 8 hours will now be completed in 5:30 hours.
In future, this expressway can also be connected to Jewar Airport in Noida, which will strengthen the connectivity of Kanpur and people will get a lot of convenience in travellling. Earlier it was built from Hapur to Kanpur, but now a 60 km long connector will be built to connect Hapur to Meerut Expressway. A 380 km long express will be built which will be between Ghaziabad and Kanpur. After the construction of this expressway, the distance from Ghaziabad to Kanpur will be reduced to a great extent, which will make it very easy for people to travel. Now the journey from Delhi to Ghaziabad Kanpur will be completed in 5:30 hours.
This expressway will also connect 9 big districts of Uttar Pradesh. The highway connects Ghaziabad, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Kasganj, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Unnao and Kanpur. This scheme will promote development. This project will be a green field project. This project will initially have 4 lanes and later it is expected to be extended to 6 lanes. This project is expected to be completed by 2026.
