The government of Uttar Pradesh started the work of building a big expressway. This project will accelerate development. This project will ease traffic and find ways to develop 25 villages. The construction of the expressway will save a lot of time. The 15-hour journey will now be covered in 9 hours. The distance between two cities will be reduced by about 600 kilometers. This expressway will be built from Gorakhpur to Siliguri. In which 25 villages will get the opportunity for new ways of development.
Gorakhpur, Kushinagar and Devsia districts will be connected to this expressway and will be separated from two other states. It will provide connectivity to Bihar and West Bengal, which will make traffic easier. Passengers will save time. The construction of this expressway is said to reduce the travel time by 6 hours. This expressway is being built in three districts and two other states. It is also a new way to promote the economic development of the people. And will also provide employment opportunities to the people.
This express will connect 84.3 km of Uttar Pradesh, 416 km of Bihar and 18.97 km of West Bengal. This will make transportation very easy for people and will also save time. The construction of the express is expected to be completed by 2028. It is being said that the length of the highway is 519 km which is going to be built from Gorakhpur to Siliguri. With the construction of Gorakhpur Siliguri Express, the distance between the two cities will be reduced by about 6 km, which will make traveling very easy. This express is going to pass through 25 villages. This highway will include Gorakhpur, Deoria and Kushinagar in an 84 km stretch.
